We attended the Expert Course organised by ECA at BALPA’s headquarters in London

The European Cockpit Association (ECA) held an Expert Course on 20 and 21 October at the headquarters of the British Airline Pilots Association (BALPA) at Heathrow International Airport in the United Kingdom, which was attended by a total of 18 professionals from the aviation sector, from different parts of the world, and where Sepla’s technical department was also represented by Ms. Consuelo Arto, pilot in the company Plus Ultra Líneas Aéreas.
During the two days of training, different working groups were held with the aim of providing the experts with knowledge, tools, skills and guidelines for action with which to represent the sector’s professionals in the different institutions, both at European and global level, and how to address them efficiently.
BALPA was the association in charge of welcoming the participants to this year’s Expert Course, which was attended by three world-renowned instructors: Juan Carlos Lozano, vice-president of ECA and executive vice-president of IFALPA, Álvaro Gammicchia, captain at Iberia Express and Paul Reuter, director of professional affairs at ECA.
This is the second Expert Course to be held, following the success of the first one held in Amsterdam last year.
