Eurowings pilots ratify the airline’s second collective labour agreement

  • The agreement has been ratified by 82.5 percent of the Sepla’s affiliated pilots
  • The agreement, which will be valid until December 31, 2024, will offer better working conditions and a higher salary to the pilots of Eurowings Europe Ltd.

Madrid, November 8, 2023.- Eurowings pilots have ratified with 82.5 percent in a binding referendum held this Monday, November 6, the preliminary agreement on the airline’s second statutory collective labour agreement, signed between the Spanish Airline Pilots Union (Sepla) and the Airline. This collective agreement, which follows the first one signed in 2019, will provide higher salaries, more OFF-days, increased travel allowances, renewed part-time models with higher capacities and better working conditions in general for the pilots and will be valid until December 31, 2024.

The Sepla union section at Eurowings has expressed its gratitude to the pilots for the broad support shown in favor of the preliminary agreement, in a vote that reached 85 percent participation. These results reflect the collective’s overwhelming support for an agreement that will leads to better working conditions for the Eurowings Europe pilots in Spain.

With the approval of the preliminary agreement, the signing of the collective bargaining agreement between the union section and the airline will proceed soon.
