Volotea

The Volotea Union Section was established in April 2026 with the aim of representing the company’s pilots and working toward the signing of their first collective bargaining agreement, which would safeguard their rights and interests.

Founded by the creators of Vueling in 2011 and headquartered in Asturias, Volotea specializes in direct connections between small and medium-sized European cities and is one of the fastest-growing airlines on the continent. It operates at 110 airports and has 19 bases in cities across France, Italy, and Spain (Asturias and Bilbao).

Currently, its fleet consists of 41 Airbus A319 and A320 aircraft.

Since 2024, the company has maintained a commercial joint venture with Grupo Abra to strengthen connectivity between Europe and Latin America.
