Labor Law Department

Labor and employment counseling is responsible for protecting all problems affecting SEPLA, its affiliates or their union branches, either administratively or through the courts. Among other issues, the labor and employment legal counseling of SEPLA is responsible for:

For Affiliates:

  • Claims for dismissal or sanctions for different companies.
  •                    
  • Claims for payment or rights.
  •                    
  • Any claim that may apply to the employee derived from their employment contract.

For the Union Sections:

  • Collective disputes before the National Court, Superior Court of Justice and Social courts.
  •                    
  • Labor Inspections 
  •                    
  • Negotiation of Collective Agreements
  • Negotiation of Redundancy Plans & Company Layoffs (ERE), Employment Regulations
  •                    
  • Negotiation of Agreements
  •                    
  • Collective modification of working conditions

For SEPLA Institution:

  • Instruction for disciplinary proceedings
  •                    
  • General advice to union section boards & committees
  •                    
  • Calls for strike
